This is to recover an EC2 instance that becomes unhealthy Navigate to Ec2 dashboard, choose the instance that we want to setup automatic recovery for
then Actions -> Cloudwatch monitoring -> Add/Edit Alarms
Will be prompted to create an alarm
The screen is like below.
Now after an alarm is set, this can be viewed in the alarms section, which looks like below
