Below simple steps will let the iPad connect and do a mirroring.

1. Turn on Apple TV
2. unlock iPad screen
3. swipe the bottom of the screen to bring up the quick control panel (IMG 0994.png)
4. Tap on Airplay to enable to Apple TV (IMG 0996.PNG)
6. Enable Mirroring (IMG 0995.PNG)
